Basic AR-15 Rifle is designed to teach firearm safety in regards to an AR-15 rifle.

Full Description: In order for you to use the AR-15 rifle correctly, this class will focus on nomenclature, the assembly/disassembly of the rifle as well as the proper loading and unloading procedure. You will also receive instruction on the use of the mechanical safety and how to safely and correctly change the magazine. After you have learned all about the various parts of this rifle, it is time to put your knowledge to the test. Instruction will focus on zeroing and marksmanship. Learning about the basic rifle positions will in turn help you with marksmanship. All students must qualify in order to have the ability to participate in the next level of classes. Once a qualification has been passed a certificate will be issued, allowing the student to progress onto the next class. If the qualification is not passed, the student will be given a certificate of attendance.
