During this class, you will receive instruction on how to properly clean and maintain your firearm. If you have questions regarding which firearm you should purchase or which one would be the best for defending yourself or your home, your questions will be answered in this class as you will discuss how to pick and choose the proper firearm by identifying the purpose of your purchase. The instructor will discuss the importance of maintaining a shooting log and the importance of dry firing skills at home. You will also practice drawing from a holster. Requirements:

Now that you have your CCL, how often do you really practice drawing from a holster or a concealed carry purse? This is a skill that needs to be practiced over and over so that you are comfortable and able to do this when necessary. This class will review drawing from no garment to a long garment and drawing from a center opening like a jacket. You will also practice drawing from a sitting position as well as learn lowlight flashlight techniques. Requirements:

This class will build upon the skills learned in class 2. You will practice drawing from the sitting position, one knee and double knee. You will receive instruction on how to use both vertical and horizontal cover to your advantage as well as how to move off the “x” spot. Requirements:

During this class, you will receive instruction on how to move off the “x” target spot. This class will also focus on how to take away a firearm from an individual, empty hands defense and weapon retention. The instructor will also discuss your “mindset” during situations in which you may need to use your firearm to protect yourself or others. How to take care of gunshot wounds will also be discussed including how to bandage a wound and make a tourniquet. Requirements:

In this class, you will practice when to shoot and not shoot by participating in different scenarios. Put your skills and knowledge to the test as you role play different situations and whether or not shooting your firearm is required. Besides role playing, you will also get a chance to be on a “jury” and decide on cases presented. Requirements:

This class will focus on survival planning and go-to bags. Learn how much food and what type of survival gear you should have in your home/car at all times. Requirements:
